LeafGuard Doesn’t Protect Against Fir Needles
In the video attached below, you can see for yourself how well LeafGuard gutters work. The reverse curve system that LeafGuard employs simply cannot handle fir needles, which are all too common in the Pacific Northwest. The fir needles actually built up along the side of the gutters on this house and blocked the water from entering the gutters. The trough underneath the gutters was created by this blocked water falling to the ground. If this was allowed to continue much longer, the foundation of the house could actually be damaged.
