This family loves Christmas lights. They told me that every year they strive to outdo the Griswolds from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, so they had a specific vision for how they wanted their gutters to look to maximize their home's street appeal, especially with lights on the house. For example, they wanted a new 2nd story downspout on the side of their home to tie in to the 1st story gutter's drain. Not only did we do that, but they were also really happy when we were able to get them exactly the color they picked out. We installed MasterShield in dark grey, new seamless gutters in white, and new downspouts in dark grey. We are your local gutter experts! Contact us today for a free estimate for any of our services!
The old gutters on this home constantly filled up with an assortment of leaves, and other gutter companies told the homeowners that their gutter systems wouldn't work on the metal roof. Our team stepped up to the challenge though. It was a little tricky to install, but we found a way to make it work while also looking great. Our crew removed and hauled away the old gutters. We then replaced them with our seamless gutters in light grey and attached them to the existing downspouts. Finally, grey MasterShield was installed on top of the gutter system to prevent any more leaves from clogging it. The owners of this Vancouver, WA home noticed that the DIY gutter protection they installed was just not working. The amount of leaves, needles, and debris were just too much for the inferior product. After having an inspection done by Leafless in Portland, it was determined that not only did the home need new gutters and MasterShield, it also required a new roof. Leafless in Portland was able to work with a local roofer to coordinate the installation of the roof followed directly by the new gutters and MasterShield. It now looks like a completely different home!
These pictures show how the MasterShield gutter system is installed on lowered gutters to accommodate the system being placed at the same angle as the roof. The first picture shows the new gutters installed 2" lower that they would be if just traditional gutters were installed and the second pictures shows what it looks like once the MasterShield is installed at the same pitch as the roof.
Every single gutter on this house was full of standing water. The homeowners had even put in downspout traps in an attempt to keep debris from clogging the gutters. That would have worked decently against leaves, but pine needles and dirt went right into the gutters. We installed white MasterShield on top of their existing gutters after cleaning them, and micro mesh filter worked perfectly to keep out both pine needles and dirt. Do you need a gutter replacement?
